As part of the ReSharper team, you will be responsible for the unit testing subsystem that powers both ReSharper (our extension for Visual Studio and VS Code-like editors) and Rider (our cross-platform .NET and game development IDE).
The unit testing subsystem is a critical component of the ReSharper and Rider ecosystem. It provides the high-performance infrastructure required to discover, manage, and execute tests across the entire .NET landscape.
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement new features for unit testing framework support.
- Refactor and optimize existing code to improve performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure high-quality, consistent support for unit testing technologies across ReSharper and Rider.
- Contribute to performance improvements, ensuring our .NET products remain fast and efficient while handling the complexities of unit testing frameworks.
- Keep up with the latest advancements in unit testing technologies to incorporate best practices into our .NET products.
We will be happy to have you on our team if you have:
- At least five years of experience in software development, with a focus on .NET technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for improving code quality and performance.
- Excellent knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience working with complex, legacy code and refactoring it to meet the latest requirements.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
