This is a full-time remote position based in Timișoara, Romania, where you'll drive IT governance excellence and quality standards across one of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa's most dynamic automotive regions. The Opportunity Continental seeks an experienced IT governance and quality professional to establish and oversee governance frameworks across the EMEA region. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring IT systems, processes, and compliance standards align with Continental's global vision whilst meeting the unique needs of regional tire operations. This is a pivotal opportunity to shape how technology serves our business and stakeholders across multiple markets. What You'll Do Develop and implement IT governance policies, frameworks, and procedures aligned with Continental's strategic objectives for the EMEA tire business Monitor and assure IT quality across all regional operations, conducting audits and assessments to identify improvements Coordinate IT standards adoption and compliance across Timișoara and other EMEA locations Partner with regional stakeholders and business leaders to align technology initiatives with operational needs Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies for IT systems and infrastructure Lead cross-functional working groups to drive IT governance initiatives and capability building Report on governance performance metrics and compliance status to regional leadership Who We're Looking For 8+ years of professional experience in IT governance, quality assurance, or a closely related discipline Proven expertise with IT governance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 38500, ITIL, or equivalent) Strong understanding of IT risk management and compliance requirements in regulated environments Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse, multinational teams Experience working within the automotive industry is a valuable advantage Ability to work independently and lead complex, multi-location initiatives Fluency in English; additional EMEA languages are beneficial Working at Continental Continental is a leading automotive supplier with a heritage of innovation and technical excellence.
