The Eclipse Foundation is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Open VSX who will be dedicated to supporting Open VSX, the open source, vendor-neutral extension registry for tools built on the VS Code extension API. The ideal candidate will be comfortable translating technical capabilities and commercial offerings into compelling value propositions for developers, technical decision-makers, enterprise buyers, platform vendors, AI tooling companies, and ecosystem partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience, ideally 5+ years, in product marketing for developer tools, software platforms, marketplaces, cloud services, SaaS, enterprise software, or related technical products
- Strong understanding of how product-led growth, consultative sales, and community-led adoption can work together to support the responsible commercialization of open source-based services
