About the Opportunity
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Drive experience innovation on socially-driven and interaction-heavy feature, elevating user experience and foster meaningful connections—ultimately boosting user adoption and engagement.

Partner closely with product managers, researchers, and engineers to define core problems and deliver user-centered design solutions—taking them from concept to polished execution.

Contribute to the product development process with wireframes, user flows, journey maps, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and evaluative research

Collaborate closely with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership to shape the overall design vision of your area of ownership

Consistently elevate the quality of the design by soliciting feedback from peers and stakeholders through formal Design Reviews, presentations and by facilitating design thinking workshops
What We Look For In You
- Experience in designing visually or engaging consumer-facing chat experience or instant messaging platform/features.

A strong sense of ownership and a growth mindset—you take initiative, stay curious, and continuously push your craft forward.
- Experience designing for chat, social, or user-to-user interaction features.

Deep expertise in visual and user interface design, with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering pixel-perfect experiences.

A champion of innovation who brings fresh ideas to the table and solves problems with creativity and clarity.

Strong critical thinking and design judgment—you can zoom in on micro-interactions and zoom out to shape holistic user journeys.

3+ years of experience collaborating within cross-functional teams at a tech company, shipping end-to-end design solutions that make an impact.

Strong communication skills with a proven ability to articulate ideas and advocate for design decisions.
Nice to Haves

Prototyping skills to bring ideas to life and communicate transitions or microinteractions.

Familiarity with design systems and the ability to scale visual consistency across platforms.

Exposure to data-informed design—comfortable interpreting user insights, behavioral data, or A/B test results.

Experience working across time zones with distributed teams—you know how to stay aligned and communicate with clarity.

A Bachelor or Masters in Fine Arts in Graphic/Visual Design, Visual Communication, or a related design discipline.
