GateSource HR is partnering with a confidential client looking for a Senior Process Consultant – Mineral Processing to build and lead a high-impact, customer-facing consulting capability across North America. The Opportunity This role is ideal for a senior mineral processing professional who thrives in operating plants—working side-by-side with operators, diagnosing real performance constraints, and delivering practical, decision-grade improvement strategies. You will play a key role in shaping a process-first consulting offering focused on measurable plant performance improvements. Key Responsibilities Lead customer discovery to understand flowsheets, KPIs, constraints, and performance gaps Diagnose plant issues through on-site assessments, data analysis, and operator engagement Design and lead structured sampling and diagnostic campaigns (safe, disciplined, decision-grade) Translate findings into clear, implementable improvement recommendations Facilitate technical workshops with operators, site leadership, and senior stakeholders Coordinate internal technical capabilities including testwork programs and engineering studies Produce high-quality customer-facing technical reports in professional English Demonstrate visible safety leadership and ensure full site compliance Requirements Required Experience & Qualifications 10+ years in mineral processing, metallurgy, or plant performance consulting Strong gravimetric circuit expertise (mandatory) Proven track record diagnosing plant issues and delivering performance improvements Experience leading sampling campaigns and converting data into decisions Excellent written and verbal English Willingness to travel extensively across North America Nice-to-Have Skills Magnetic separation experience Flotation exposure Multi-site operational or consulting background Confidence presenting to senior technical and capital stakeholders Why Consider This Role Exposure to multiple sites, commodities, and flowsheets Hands-on, plant-based consulting—not desk-only work Opportunity to build a strong personal reputation as a trusted technical advisor
