This full-time role is based in the United States, with an East Coast location preferred. About the Role As a member of the Dragos Public Sector team, you will act as the technical link between Dragos and federal agencies working to defend the nation's critical infrastructure. Working hand-in-hand with our sales account managers, you will uncover each agency's mission needs, architect cybersecurity solutions tailored to those goals, and shepherd customers from initial proof-of-concept all the way to live deployment. Part consultant, part trusted advisor, you'll make sure every solution delivers real value and follows proven best practices — directly boosting the cyber resilience of federal agencies and strengthening national security. Key Responsibilities Support both pre-sales and post-sales activities to capture customer requirements, technical objectives, and operating environments. Offer consultative guidance so clients fully understand Dragos offerings and recommended practices. Deliver customized product demonstrations that map our solutions to specific agency needs. Represent Dragos at trade shows and conferences in support of sales efforts. Partner with sales to scope and design the right-fit solutions aligned to customer goals. Plan, run, and troubleshoot proof-of-concept deployments. Field inbound product and service inquiries, including RFIs, proposals, and statements of work. Qualifications Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required. Proven experience with federal government agencies and a solid grasp of federal procurement processes, regulations, and policies. 3+ years in a pre-sales or consultative capacity, plus 5+ years in cybersecurity. Familiarity with ICS/OT environments, including protocols, DCS, and SCADA. Strong networking and systems fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI and Purdue models, Linux command line, packet analysis with Wireshark/Tshark, and telemetry analysis using Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana. Hands-on experience with cloud and virtualized platforms such as AWS, VMware, and Hyper-V, plus basic scripting in Python or Lua. Excellent presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel up to 50%; East Coast location preferred.
