Senior Manager, Presales Engineering

Role Overview

As Twilio‘s next Senior Manager of Presales Engineering, DACH, you will be a technical leader for a team of Presales Engineers covering the DACH subregion. You will report to the Presales Engineering Director, EMEA. The team supports some of the largest and fastest growing companies in the world, spanning industries such as marketing, business automation, and customer care.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will partner with the Sales leadership team to set strategy, work across functions to ensure collaboration, build programs to accelerate the Sales funnel, attract, develop, and motivate a team of Presales Engineers, and lead the technical strategy and technical forecast.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant presales work experience within the SaaS or CPaaS industry
• 3+ years of formal people leadership experience
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering experience
• Proven ability to drive business results
• Proven track record of building high-performance teams
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• A hands-on approach to problem solving
• A strong understanding of the developer adoption cycle
• Experience with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) cloud application architecture and AI systems
• Experience with sales methodologies
• Cross-functional experience in pre-sales or post-sales technical consulting, software engineering, or product management
