Senior Manager, International Indirect Tax

Stock X · United States

How to use this kit

Ground every answer in facts on this page and the original listing. We never invent Glassdoor-style reviews or salaries that are not in our data.

Interview prep

Expect scenarios on marketplace VAT collection, multi-country registration, and how product or logistics changes (e.g., authentication centers, used goods) affect tax. Prepare concise examples of policy decisions, system controls, and working with non-tax teams under tight deadlines.

Fit summary

Strong fit if you enjoy global indirect tax complexity in a high-volume digital marketplace with physical authentication and expanding product categories—not a pure local corporate tax seat.

Day in the role

As Senior Manager, International Indirect Tax at StockX, a typical day centers on cross-border marketplace flows: VAT/GST and other indirect tax on seller–buyer transactions, marketplace facilitator rules, and registration/filing calendars across key markets. You would partner with finance, product, and ops on tax treatment of authentication hubs and international offices, review system logic for tax determination, and brief leadership on regulatory change affecting multi-country retail.

Skills to emphasize

Prioritize VAT/GST and marketplace facilitator regimes, transfer-pricing adjacent awareness for cross-border ops, ERP/tax engine configuration, and clear stakeholder writing. The supplied CERTS list targets nursing coursework and does not map to this tax role.
