About the Role As a Senior HR Generalist – EMEA at Canonical, you will act as both a strategic driver and a hands-on practitioner across regional and global people initiatives. Collaborate with the EMEA HR Manager and Global Head of HR to create impact across all regions. Own people processes including onboarding, performance reviews, talent development, succession planning, and engagement and culture programs. Advise managers on performance management, organizational design, rewards, employee engagement, and workforce planning. Work alongside the HRIS team to build and improve day-to-day HR administration. Coach people managers through the full range of employee relations matters across multiple countries. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, and lead the design of new policies and global HR projects. Qualifications An outstanding academic record at both secondary and university level. HR experience leading cross-regional initiatives within a technology business. EMEA regional HR knowledge (France, Germany, and/or the UK a plus), with insight into local labor law. A track record of business partnering with senior stakeholders and mentoring others. Strong project management skills, comfort in a remote-first setting, and data-driven decision-making.
