Senior Financial Analyst

ASRC Federal is seeking a detail-driven Senior Financial Analyst in Washington, D.C., to strengthen audit readiness across high-visibility Department of the Navy financial programs.

About the Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst at ASRC Federal, you will support the Department of the Navy's Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Office, with a primary focus on the Property Division. This full-time, on-site position in Washington, D.C., places you at the center of efforts to improve financial transparency, accountability, and compliance across mission-critical Navy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and business support to the FIAR Office Property Division.
• Assist additional FIAR Office divisions, including Contract Vendor Pay, Transportation of People, and Transportation of Things.
• Support Milstrips, Fund Balance With Treasury, Financial Compilation and Reporting, and Reimbursable Work activities.
• Advance audit readiness objectives by documenting processes, reconciling data, and identifying opportunities to strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across divisions to ensure accurate, audit-ready financial information.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or federal audit readiness.
• Familiarity with government accounting concepts such as Fund Balance With Treasury and reimbursable work.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple divisions and communicate findings clearly to a range of stakeholders.
• Comfort working on-site in Washington, D.C., within a federal program environment.
