About the Role As Senior Director, Category Leadership, you will own Chomps' long-term category vision and growth agenda. You'll convert syndicated, household, loyalty, shopper, and retailer data into clear, commercially grounded recommendations that guide Sales, Marketing, Innovation, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), and executive decisions. This is a highly strategic, customer-facing role for a leader who is equally comfortable building internal capability and serving as Chomps' category voice with top retail partners. Key Responsibilities Define and run Chomps' category leadership vision, operating model, and customer role across channels. Build the annual Category Growth Story, develop a sharp competitive point of view, and pinpoint whitespace opportunities. Act as Chomps' executive-level category advisor to leading retailers, earning merchant trust through compelling, data-backed stories. Lead assortment optimization, shelf and space strategy, planogram logic, SKU rationalization, and incrementality framing. Partner with Sales and RGM to unlock distribution, velocity, and share gains, and to set priority SKU rankings for annual planning. Serve as the internal expert on category performance, shopper behavior, and competitive dynamics. Recruit, lead, and grow a high-performing Category Leadership team through clear KPIs, coaching, and career development. Qualifications Deep CPG category management expertise, including assortment, space, shelf strategy, and shopper insights. Strong command of syndicated, retailer, household, panel, and shopper data platforms. Proven retailer storytelling skills and a track record of turning analysis into measurable commercial action.
