As part of this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and driving the company's defense across securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits, and other complex civil litigation. This position is based in Archer, Laramie County, and requires a full-time commitment with no remote option. What You'll Do Manage and drive Coinbase’s defense in securities class actions and shareholder derivative suits. Handle high-stakes disputes that impact the company's operations and reputation. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and business units to ensure effective litigation strategies are implemented. Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to senior management on litigation matters. Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by ensuring timely and thorough communication throughout the litigation process. Requirements A minimum of 7 years of experience in shareholder litigation, preferably within the technology or financial services industry. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in at least one state and a willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
