RTX is hiring a full-time Senior Coordinator Payroll Operations based in Dallas, Texas — a high-impact position within one of the world's most recognized aerospace and defense technology companies.

About the Role

As Senior Coordinator Payroll Operations at RTX's Dallas location, you'll be central to delivering accurate, compliant, and on-time payroll for a large and complex workforce. Working in close partnership with Human Resources and Finance, you'll own key elements of the payroll cycle and serve as a trusted resource for employees and internal stakeholders alike.

What You'll Do

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for a sizable employee population in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Audit payroll inputs and outputs, research variances, and resolve discrepancies before disbursement
  • Maintain employee payroll records including direct deposit elections, tax withholding, voluntary deductions, and wage garnishments
  • Lead or support year-end payroll close activities, including W-2 preparation, reconciliation, and filings
  • Collaborate with HR, Benefits, and Finance on general ledger reconciliation and tax reporting
  • Field payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers with accuracy and professionalism
  • Provide documentation and analysis to support internal controls and third-party payroll audits
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement of payroll operations workflows

What We're Looking For

  • U.S. citizenship is required — access to certain systems used in this role is restricted to U.S. citizens
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated payroll operations experience within a large or matrixed organization
  • Solid understanding of federal and multi-state payroll tax law, wage and hour requirements, and garnishment processing
  • Hands-on proficiency with enterprise payroll platforms such as SAP, Workday, or ADP
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong analytical skills with a track record of high accuracy under deadline pressure
  • Clear communicator who can translate payroll complexity for non-payroll audiences
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) credential is a plus
