Hoar Construction is hiring a Senior Construction Project Manager in Atlanta, Fulton County, to lead complex builds from the field to final completion. This full-time role begins with project support in Charleston, SC, then transitions to a permanent home office in Atlanta once that assignment wraps up.
About the Role
As a Senior Construction Project Manager with Hoar Construction, you will provide experienced, senior-level leadership across your project teams and carry accountability for meeting each project's overarching goals. The position blends hands-on construction oversight with people leadership, making you the central point of guidance for delivery, quality, and team growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and direct project teams to ensure all major project objectives are achieved.
- Set the overall direction, scope, and expectations that keep work on track from start to finish.
- Train, mentor, and develop the staff assigned to your projects, strengthening team capability over time.
- Provide senior-level oversight during the initial Charleston, SC assignment, then continue leadership from the Atlanta home office.
- Champion the standards of safety, quality, and accountability expected on every Hoar Construction project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing construction projects at a senior level, with a track record of delivering on objectives.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to coach and grow project staff.
- Willingness to begin the role on-site in Charleston, SC before relocating the permanent office base to Atlanta.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities suited to leading multiple stakeholders.
