Senior Bridge Engineer

As a Senior Bridge Engineer at Parsons Corporation, you will apply deep technical expertise to the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of bridge structures. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design, analysis, and load rating of new and existing bridges.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to meet schedule and quality goals.
• Review plans for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
• Extensive, senior-level experience in bridge or structural engineering design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or eligibility to obtain it.
• Strong command of bridge design codes, structural analysis software, and engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project-coordination skills.
