As a (Senior) Backend Engineer in the Vehicle Mission team, you will be responsible for building the mission control backend that orchestrates autonomous vehicle operations. You will develop the orchestration of driving tasks to autonomous vehicles, coordinate passenger boarding workflows, and ensure reliable communication between backend systems and on-vehicle components. This includes integrating with external self-driving system providers and providing test infrastructure and tools for autonomous vehicle development. Your Responsibilities Developing mission control backend that orchestrates autonomous vehicle operations Orchestrating driving tasks to autonomous vehicles Coordinating passenger boarding workflows Ensuring reliable communication between backend systems and on-vehicle components Integrating with external self-driving system providers Providing test infrastructure and tools for autonomous vehicle development Skills & Qualifications We are looking for a (Senior) Backend Engineer who is passionate about building robust, scalable systems. You should have experience in backend development with a focus on microservices architecture, strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and database management, and proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, or Go. Experience with self-driving technologies and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is a plus. Additionally, you should be familiar with agile methodologies and have excellent problem-solving skills.
