Function Health is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to own the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of core accounting operations, ensuring a strong financial foundation as the company grows. The role involves leading critical components of the monthly close, building structure and documentation, and designing and hiring the next phase of the accounting team.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Big 4 public accounting experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and build processes from the ground up
- Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams
- Excellent judgment, communication skills, and confidence proposing accounting positions and operational solutions
- Experience scaling accounting in a high-growth, multi-product environment
- Experience implementing or improving accounting automation tools and reporting systems
- Demonstrated experience supporting M&A transactions
