They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting & Finance team, responsible for leading aspects of the accounting function at the Corporate entity providing Shared Services to Brands in the Stagwell network.

Requirements

  • Balance sheet account reconciliation
  • Prepare general ledger account analyses
  • Maintain Revenue recognition processes
  • Work with Staff Accountants to reconcile all bank accounts monthly
  • Assist in aggregating and recording month end expense accruals
  • Prepare month end journal entries
  • Manage and reconcile all intercompany transactions
  • Research and propose recommended solutions to open items on balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support month end ancillary package and hyperion trial balance uploads
  • Serves as a back-up for various areas within the Shared Service Department
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required
  • Assist with Ad hoc requests as assigned
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls
