Humanscale Corporation is hiring a full-time Senior Account Development Representative to join its Chicago team, based in the Greektown neighborhood, driving new business growth for one of the most recognized names in ergonomic workplace solutions.
About the Role
As a Senior Account Development Representative at Humanscale, you'll sit at the front end of the revenue engine — identifying high-value prospects, sparking meaningful conversations, and building a consistent pipeline that fuels the broader sales organization. This is a hunter role for someone who thrives on outbound strategy, relationship-building, and winning new accounts in a competitive B2B environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute targeted outbound prospecting strategies across phone, email, and social channels to engage decision-makers in commercial and enterprise accounts
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, assessing fit and urgency before scheduling discovery calls and product demonstrations for field sales partners
- Build and manage a high-quality opportunity pipeline, maintaining accurate records and activity logs in CRM
- Partner with account executives and marketing to align messaging, prioritize territories, and convert campaigns into booked meetings
- Bring a consultative approach to early-stage conversations, connecting prospects' workplace health and productivity challenges to Humanscale's award-winning product portfolio — including seating, sit/stand desks, technology support, and architectural lighting
- Mentor and support junior members of the sales development team, sharing best practices and helping elevate overall team performance
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline and meeting targets
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of B2B sales development or inside sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding quotas
- Proven ability to conduct high-volume outbound prospecting while maintaining quality and personalization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging VP- and C-level stakeholders
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools
- Experience in office furniture, contract interiors, workplace technology, or commercial real estate is a plus
- Self-directed and results-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
