About the Role
As a Security Officer with POWDR in Frisco, Colorado, you'll be a visible, reassuring presence across Copper Mountain Resort — a mountain getaway set 75 miles west of Denver in the heart of the Rockies. The resort welcomes guests through three lively, walkable village areas filled with lodging, shops, restaurants, bars, and family attractions, drawing world-class skiers and riders each winter and adventure seekers all summer long. This is an on-site, full-time position; remote work is not available.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol village areas, lodging, retail spaces, and resort facilities to maintain a safe environment for guests, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor activity, deter unauthorized access, and respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies.
- Enforce resort policies and procedures while delivering friendly, professional guest service.
- Document observations, incidents, and security reports accurately and thoroughly.
- Coordinate with resort teams, management, and local emergency services as needed.
- Assist guests with directions, questions, and general support across the three village areas.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with sound judgment and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited to a guest-facing environment.
- Comfort working outdoors in a high-altitude mountain setting through changing seasons and weather.
- Availability for a full-time schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliability, integrity, and a commitment to guest and team safety.
