As a Security Officer with Covey Security in Yuma, Arizona, you will serve as a visible, reassuring presence at assigned sites. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a watchful, professional presence to deter and identify suspicious or unauthorized activity
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections of buildings, grounds, and entry points
• Monitor access and verify the credentials of individuals entering the premises
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, escalating as appropriate
• Document observations, activity, and incidents in clear, accurate reports
• Enforce site rules and provide courteous assistance to clients and the public

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time or on-call shifts in Yuma, Arizona
• Strong observation skills and sound judgment under pressure
• Professional demeanor with clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to remain alert during patrols and stationary posts
• Willingness to complete any required training to advance in the role

Compensation

This Security Officer position offers $17.00–$18.80 per hour, with placement on that range based on experience and additional training completed.
