Success means creating frameworks that reduce risk without slowing delivery, while remaining a trusted advisor on complex security trade-offs. What You'll Do Lead the design of comprehensive security architectures for applications, networks, cloud environments, and data platforms. Evaluate security technologies and recommend solutions that align with organizational needs and risk appetite. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are understood, prioritized, and correctly implemented. Document architecture decisions, policies, and runbooks so they remain clear and actionable for stakeholders. Advise on identity, access management, encryption, monitoring, and zero-trust principles across remote-friendly environments. Stay current with threat landscapes and regulatory expectations so roadmaps stay relevant and defensible. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a senior security engineering design capacity. Deep knowledge of security architecture principles, cloud security models, network segmentation, and application security. Hands-on familiarity with common frameworks and practices such as threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure design patterns. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong background reviewing diagrams, code-adjacent designs, or infrastructure-as-code with a security lens. Understanding of identity and access management, encryption, logging, and monitoring strategies. Demonstrated skill partnering across product, engineering, and operations in a remote setting.
