About the Role As a School Psychologist with Community Unit School District 300, you will conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for students in special education and general education settings. Your assessments and interventions directly support student learning outcomes, behavioral health, and academic success across multiple school sites. Serving in a special education related services capacity, you will apply evidence-based practices to help students thrive. What You'll Do Conduct case study evaluations and psychoeducational assessments for students referred for special education eligibility and services Analyze Response to Intervention (RTI) data to identify students at risk and inform tiered intervention and prevention strategies Administer, interpret, and report on psychological and cognitive testing results to teams and families Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to develop and implement evidence-based behavioral and academic interventions Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, case conferences, and special education decisions Support district-wide initiatives and programs related to student mental health and social-emotional learning What We're Looking For Master's degree in School Psychology or closely related psychology field from an accredited institution Valid school psychologist credential, certification, or license as required by your state Demonstrated expertise in administering and interpreting psychoeducational and psychological assessments Experience with Response to Intervention (RTI) models and special education evaluation processes Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with students, families, and school staff Ability to work effectively and independently across multiple school locations and serve diverse student populations About Community Unit School District 300 Community Unit School District 300 is committed to supporting student success.
