About the Role As an SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant at NTT DATA in Mexico, you will act as a trusted technical expert, applying deep command of the newest SAP technologies, tooling, and architecture to support our clients. You will diagnose and resolve intricate SAP technology problems, evaluate enterprise application performance system-wide, and shape technical architecture alongside designers, developers, and business analysts. Key Responsibilities Deliver BASIS and HANA support for SAP S/4HANA, C/4, and BW/4HANA conversions, upgrades, migrations, RISE, and OS/DB conversions. Install and configure SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, PO, SAP CPI, Cloud Connector, Solution Manager, and Data Hub across leading cloud IaaS platforms. Lead and steer solution discussions with both business and IT stakeholders, presenting complex technical concepts to audiences of every size. Design and build integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, and tune performance for S/4HANA, HANA databases, and cloud environments. Guide customers on the most efficient approach to SAP migrations, implementations, and operations on AWS, Azure, GCP, and other public or private clouds. Administer SAP and non-HANA databases (Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, MaxDB), including upgrades, backup and restore strategy, security, and client administration. Automate routine manual tasks to lift operational efficiency, conduct root cause analysis, and uphold solution quality and SLA adherence. Manage OS, database, platform, and cloud migrations, while supporting full life-cycle SAP implementations using a recognized methodology. Qualifications 10+ years of hands-on experience across SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC BASIS. At least one full life-cycle SAP implementation. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Willingness to travel to Guadalajara as the role requires. Nice to have: SAP Activate knowledge, training, or SAP certification.
