CDIT seeks a full-time SAP Functional Consultant – Environment Health & Safety to support the design, implementation, and sustainment of SAP S/4HANA EHS capabilities for the Department of Defense's Joint Transportation Management System. This remote position, based in the United States with periodic travel, modernizes federal environmental compliance, occupational safety, and hazardous materials management. The Opportunity Transform how the Department of Defense manages environmental health and safety through enterprise SAP solutions. You'll design and deploy SAP S/4HANA Environment, Health & Safety Management (EHSM) capabilities that strengthen federal compliance, improve worker safety, and streamline hazardous materials management across military transportation. Working with functional leads, business experts, developers, and government stakeholders, you'll translate complex regulatory requirements into system configurations that drive mission-critical operations. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Configure SAP S/4HANA EHSM functionality including incident management, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, and hazardous substance management Translate business requirements into functional design documents and technical specifications Integrate EHS with Materials Management, Transportation Management, Quality Management, and HR modules Configure Dangerous Goods Management for hazardous materials packaging, labeling, and compliant transportation Manage safety data sheet systems and regulatory documentation Create functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows Partner with developers on custom enhancements and integrations Lead unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing Execute data migration for hazardous substance master data and compliance records Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops and training Support production deployments and production support Participate in Agile ceremonies and compliance activities including ATO and cybersecurity reviews Who We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Information Systems, Business, or related field 5+ years of SAP Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) functional configuration Proven SAP S/4HANA implementation or support experience Expertise in incident management, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, occupational health, product compliance, hazardous substances, and dangerous goods regulations Ability to write functional specifications for custom developments Experience supporting testing, defect analysis, and resolution Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance Willingness to travel up to 25% to program and customer sites Preferred qualifications: DoD or Federal ERP experience, SAP Activate methodology, Agile/Scrum…
