Safety Technician

Corbins is hiring a full-time Safety Technician to join its field operations team in Pecos, Reeves County, TX — supporting one of the fastest-growing industrial construction enterprises in the United States.

About the Role

As a Safety Technician at Corbins, you will serve as a frontline safety resource on active construction sites, helping protect crews, subcontractors, and the public through consistent hazard identification, compliance oversight, and safety culture reinforcement. This is an on-site position in Pecos, TX — travel within the Reeves County area may be required.

What You'll Do

• Conduct routine job-site inspections and safety audits to identify and document hazardous conditions
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and client-specific requirements
• Support incident investigations, including near-miss reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
• Lead or assist with toolbox talks, safety orientations, and on-site training sessions for field crews
• Verify proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce site access controls
• Maintain accurate safety records, inspection logs, and regulatory documentation
• Collaborate with project supervisors and site leadership to close out safety findings promptly
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in a construction or industrial safety role
• Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 (Construction) standards
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
• Ability to perform physical inspections across active job sites, including climbing, walking on uneven terrain, and working in varying weather conditions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for safety reporting and crew engagement
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and record-keeping
• Team-first mindset with a genuine commitment to protecting every person on site
