You will own system safety, export control, and approval management while serving as the primary contact for public authorities — a genuinely high-responsibility position within Germany's defence-technology sector, based on-site in Leipzig. Key Responsibilities Carry out FHA, FMEA, and FTA safety analyses Take ownership of export control and the management of regulatory approvals Develop safety concepts for test benches and flight trials Act as liaison with government bodies and other relevant agencies Establish and maintain robust compliance processes Support certification and release procedures Qualifications Completed degree in engineering, (business) law, or a comparable discipline Familiarity with German export control law for weapon systems (AWG, KWKG) Hands-on experience applying system safety methods A structured, documentation-focused way of working and a grasp of complex technical systems Experience with the BAAINBw, aviation, or safety authorities is a plus ITAR and international compliance experience is advantageous Knowledge of military development and certification processes is beneficial Very good German (C1 minimum) alongside solid English skills Citizenship of an EU or NATO member state (excluding the USA) and willingness to undergo security clearance under the SÜG About Falk Defence GmbH Falk Defence GmbH builds advanced technologies for missiles, guided munitions, and launch systems in the military domain.
