About the Role

The Rotary Die Cutter Operator is an hourly, full-time machine operator position based on-site in Milltown, New Jersey. The standard assignment is 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:20 PM, with the flexibility to take on overtime and weekend hours when production demands require it. This is a hands-on manufacturing role for someone who takes pride in dependable attendance, quality output, and a safety-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor a rotary die cutting machine to produce corrugated sheet products that meet specifications.
• Load materials, adjust settings, and make running corrections to maintain consistent quality and output.
• Inspect finished work for defects and resolve issues promptly to limit waste and downtime.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic upkeep to keep equipment in good working order.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and housekeeping standards throughout each shift.
• Remain available for overtime and weekend coverage as scheduling needs arise.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work the 2nd shift schedule, plus overtime and weekends when required.
• Comfort operating production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail paired with a genuine commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of a plant operator role, including standing, lifting, and repetitive motion.
• Reliable attendance and a collaborative, team-oriented work ethic.
