What You'll Do Supervise and mentor hospice nursing teams, including RNs, LPNs, and certified nursing assistants Develop and implement clinical protocols aligned with hospice best practices and regulatory requirements Coordinate patient care plans with physicians, social workers, and interdisciplinary team members Manage patient admissions, assessments, and ongoing clinical evaluations Ensure accurate medical documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance across all patient records Monitor quality metrics, patient outcomes, and staff performance Respond to urgent clinical situations and provide nursing leadership during patient care emergencies Collaborate with administration on budget planning and resource allocation for the hospice program Skills & Qualifications Current, active RN license in Missouri Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with hospice or palliative care experience preferred Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing clinical teams Strong knowledge of hospice care principles, comfort-focused care, and end-of-life support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic healthcare environment Proficiency with electronic health records and medical documentation systems CPR certification and willingness to maintain current certifications Working at Phoenix Home Care and Hospice Join a compassionate organization committed to providing dignified, person-centered care at life's end.
