Elios is hiring a full-time RN Ambulatory Surgery / Operating Room in West Slope, Washington County, near Portland, Oregon — an opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse to deliver hands-on surgical care without the burden of on-call coverage.

About the Role

As an RN Ambulatory Surgery / Operating Room nurse with Elios, you'll join a respected surgery center supporting patients through scheduled outpatient procedures. This position is an excellent fit for inpatient OR nurses ready to leave behind night shifts, weekend rotations, and call schedules in favor of a predictable, daytime routine. The role follows a four-day workweek of ten-hour day shifts, giving you consistent hours and three days off each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across the surgical experience in an ambulatory setting.
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies ahead of scheduled procedures.
• Support the surgical team during outpatient operations, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
• Monitor patients and document care accurately throughout each case.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow nurses to keep the surgical day running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Prior operating room or surgical nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative protocols and sterile technique.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented outpatient environment.
• Available to work four ten-hour day shifts each week.
