ezHIRE is looking for a seasoned Risk & Safety Freelancer in Lighthouse Point, Broward County, to partner with clients across South Florida as a trusted third-party consultant on safety, compliance, and risk management.

About the Role

As a Risk & Safety Freelancer with ezHIRE, you'll operate as an external advisor rather than an internal team member, stepping in wherever clients need experienced guidance. This is a flexible, hybrid engagement based in Lighthouse Point, Broward County, with periodic on-site visits arranged as projects require. You'll bring clarity and confidence to organizations navigating safety obligations, regulatory expectations, and exposure to operational risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on safety practices, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation tailored to each engagement.
• Assess workplaces and operations to surface hazards and recommend practical corrective measures.
• Support the development and refinement of safety policies, documentation, and procedures.
• Conduct periodic site visits across South Florida to evaluate conditions firsthand.
• Help clients stay aligned with applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Deliver clear, actionable findings and follow-up guidance on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience in risk management, occupational safety, or regulatory compliance.
• Comfort working independently as a third-party consultant across multiple industries.
• Strong analytical judgment for identifying risk and translating it into practical recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for advising clients and presenting findings.
• Availability for periodic in-person site visits throughout the South Florida region.
