Revit Structure Designer

TAS is hiring a full-time Revit Structure Designer to join our Design & Drafting Group in Houston, Harris County, where you will translate engineering intent into precise, build-ready models for packaged equipment and integrated systems.

About the Role

As a Revit Structure Designer at TAS in Houston, you will turn customer requirements, technical specifications, and manufacturing constraints into complete, coordinated equipment designs. Working closely with TAS Project Engineers, you will produce detailed structural models and drawings that capture the design intent of each project while accounting for the mechanical and electrical elements that share the same layout.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications, design inputs, and shop fabrication limits to develop full packaged equipment designs and system layouts.
• Build accurate 3D structural models and construction drawings in Revit based on direction from TAS Project Engineers.
• Coordinate structural components with mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines to keep each system design clash-free and manufacturable.
• Revise and refine models and drawing packages as project requirements evolve.
• Maintain drafting standards, documentation, and design records throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and detailing structures in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong grasp of structural drafting principles and the ability to read and apply engineering specifications.
• Comfort working from design intent provided by project engineers and translating it into precise deliverables.
• Awareness of manufacturing and fabrication constraints that affect packaged equipment design.
• Attention to detail and the coordination skills needed to work alongside multiple engineering disciplines.
• Availability to work on-site in Houston, Harris County, in a full-time capacity.
