Collaborate with underwriters and risk control specialists to clarify findings and answer questions about property conditions. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local building codes, construction materials, and market trends affecting high‑value residential risk. Ensure all inspections adhere to EXL’s quality standards and are completed within agreed turn‑around times. Document observations accurately in the company’s appraisal management system and follow internal audit procedures. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a residential property appraiser, preferably with a focus on high‑value or luxury homes. Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural styles, and valuation techniques for upscale residential properties. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and property documentation to support accurate assessments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing clear reports and interacting with clients and internal teams. Proficiency with appraisal software, digital photography tools, and mobile data capture devices. Valid state appraisal license or certification where required, or eligibility to obtain one. Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to meeting deadlines without sacrificing accuracy. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling to client sites across the Denver metropolitan area.
