Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Estimator to join our team as a dedicated, full-time estimator working within our client’s existing systems and workflows. The ideal candidate will own the full bid lifecycle — from plan development and quantity takeoff through final bid submission and project coordination.
What You Will Do
Develop and refine plan sets, perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing, manage the full bid solicitation and submission process, solicit pricing from trade subcontractors, and communicate directly with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of estimating experience in residential remodeling, proficiency with Buildertrend or comparable software, and strong ability to read and interpret architectural plans.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of estimating experience in residential remodeling
- Proficiency with Buildertrend or comparable project management and estimating software
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and design details
- End-to-end bid process experience
- Proven experience developing plan sets and coordinating with trade subcontractors
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Prior experience working remotely for a U.S.-based contractor
