Drive product development and design refinement, identifying opportunities to improve structural performance, manufacturing efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Establish and oversee testing protocols; ensure all components meet applicable safety and performance standards. Lead improvement initiatives addressing material durability, manufacturing quality, and project delivery timelines. Provide technical guidance on product application, troubleshoot field challenges, and recommend practical solutions. Prepare engineering reports, design documentation, and compliance records; maintain current documentation of design validation. Stay current with evolving building codes and structural engineering standards to maintain competitive, compliant designs. Collaborate with production, installation, and customer teams to ensure correct execution and quality installations. Who We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Valid Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in your jurisdiction. Minimum 5 years of direct structural design experience for building systems. Proficiency with engineering design software (GSE Aluminum, Dlubal RFEM/RSTAB, or equivalent); SolidWorks knowledge is valued. Solid command of building codes, ICC standards, and structural safety principles. Prior experience with aluminum or timber products in construction is preferred. Strong project management capabilities, including task prioritization, timeline management, and oversight of complex deliverables. Proven leadership and mentoring ability with excellent communication skills for engineers, clients, and stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort adopting additional engineering platforms.
