About the Role You'll lead a transformational automation programme for our client, a rapidly scaling FMCG manufacturer modernising its operations through Industry 4.0 technologies. What You'll Do Audit existing manufacturing operations remotely to identify automation opportunities and inefficiencies. Design comprehensive automation solutions spanning production lines, refrigeration units, packaging operations, and quality assurance processes. Oversee the development and deployment of PLC, HMI, and SCADA infrastructure, coordinating with on-site technical teams. Implement predictive maintenance frameworks using IoT sensors to monitor equipment health and prevent breakdowns. Integrate AI-powered visual inspection capabilities for consistent automated quality control. Establish connections between ERP and MES platforms to create a unified, data-driven production environment. Ensure all automation designs comply with food safety standards and regulatory requirements. Document system specifications thoroughly and deliver remote training sessions to client personnel. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent discipline.
