About the Role As a Regulatory Reporting Senior Specialist at N26 in Barcelona, you'll be a hands-on operational driver within our Regulatory Reporting Team — a group built around accuracy, strong compliance, and thoughtful data architecture. You'll keep our reporting cycles running flawlessly, lend support across complex regulatory frameworks, and partner with data and IT colleagues while new products take shape. This full-time position suits a finance professional with banking-regulation know-how who wants to grow inside a fast-moving fintech. Key Responsibilities Compile, proof, and submit regulatory reports on time across monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual cycles. Own day-to-day COREP, FINREP, statistical, and national reporting workflows, with emphasis on liquidity reporting and capital requirements (Basel Pillar 1 and 3). Prepare documentation and serve as a dependable contact for internal and external auditors throughout audit cycles. Contribute operationally to new initiatives, reviewing and embedding regulatory requirements ahead of launch. Work alongside Data and IT teams to improve pipelines, manage data requests, refine interface descriptions, and advance automation in our core reporting engine (BAIS). Represent Regulatory Reporting in regular alignments with Risk, Controlling & Credit, Treasury, Accounting, and regulatory authorities. Qualifications 3–5 years of practical, hands-on regulatory reporting experience at a licensed bank, financial institution, or financial outsourcing provider. A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Engineering, or a banking education with relevant further qualifications, plus a solid grasp of a bank's balance sheet. Working knowledge of European banking and financial legislation, including CRR, CRD, KWG, and AnaCredit. Direct experience with regulatory reporting software — ideally BAIS (or equivalents such as Abacus/Regnology) — together with advanced Excel skills and comfort around data/IT interfaces. Exposure to external audit cycles and to preparing reporting documentation for authorities.
