About the Role This is a full-time nursing position working Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. You'll work at our 289 Windham Road location in Willimantic, providing comprehensive nursing care in a substance use recovery environment. As part of the Hartford HealthCare system, you'll be supported by resources and colleagues across Connecticut's largest integrated health network. What You'll Do Assess and monitor patient health status, vital signs, and therapeutic progress Administer medications and manage treatment protocols with clinical precision Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans Document patient care activities and maintain confidential medical records Provide patient education on recovery, wellness, and medication management Respond to clinical changes and communicate with physicians and specialists Support a trauma-informed, recovery-focused care environment What We're Looking For Current Connecticut RN licensure or ability to obtain licensure Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Compassion for individuals in recovery with substance use disorders Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a care team Commitment to patient safety, dignity, and confidential care Why Join Us Rushford and Hartford HealthCare are committed to supporting every team member.
