Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Columbus

Total Care ABA is hiring a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver compassionate, life-changing applied behavior analysis therapy to children with autism across the Columbus area in Beallwood, Muscogee County.

About the Role

As an RBT with Total Care ABA, you will provide hands-on, in-home and in-school ABA services that help children with autism and related developmental needs build meaningful skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in Beallwood, Muscogee County, ideal for someone who is patient, dependable, and motivated by measurable progress in the children they support.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized behavior intervention plans designed and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in family homes and school settings throughout the Columbus region.
• Track client behavior accurately and record session data to inform ongoing treatment decisions.
• Teach communication, social, and daily-living skills using positive reinforcement strategies.
• Work closely with supervising clinicians and families to keep care consistent and goal-focused.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it.
• Interest in or experience working with children who have autism or developmental differences.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow clinical direction precisely.
• Reliable transportation for travel to in-home and in-school sessions across Muscogee County.
• A caring, mission-driven attitude and commitment to ethical, client-centered practice.
