Role Overview This Regional Environmental Health & Safety Specialist position is central to our mission of building a resilient, compliant, and safety-conscious organization. In this role, you'll establish and nurture a strong EHS culture across regional facilities, ensuring all operations meet or exceed regulatory requirements while embodying our commitment to environmental stewardship. Core Duties Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive environmental health and safety programs tailored to regional operations Conduct regular facility audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state environmental regulations Investigate workplace incidents, perform root cause analyses, and establish corrective action plans Design and deliver targeted safety training programs for employees across all organizational levels Create and maintain detailed safety metrics, compliance records, and regulatory documentation Partner with facility and department leadership to integrate safety practices into daily operations Monitor evolving environmental and occupational safety regulations to keep policies current and compliant Qualifications Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or related field Minimum three years of professional experience in environmental health and safety functions Demonstrated expertise in OSHA standards, EPA environmental regulations, and applicable state compliance requirements Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) preferred Strong communication abilities, capable of educating and engaging employees at all levels Experience with safety management systems, incident tracking databases, and regulatory reporting tools Proven ability to manage multiple compliance priorities and drive organizational safety improvements More About CFO Trane U.S. -CFO We are part of Trane Technologies, a global innovator in climate control and sustainable building solutions.
