Position Overview:
M2D is seeking a Recruitment Lead to manage the full-cycle recruitment, ensuring a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience for all team members at M2D. This role will oversee one Recruitment Coordinator and report to the Director of HR Strategy & Member Experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong people skills, passionate about creating a positive candidate and volunteer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment

Lead full-cycle recruitment, from job posting, sourcing, screening, and interviewing to selection and onboarding.

Collaborate with the leadership team to identify talent needs and ensure effective role alignment.

Maintain and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract diverse, mission-driven candidates.

Ensure job descriptions are up to date and reflective of organizational needs.
Onboarding & Offboarding
-
Manage and enhance the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new team members.
-
Conduct onboarding sessions to introduce new team members to M2D’s mission, values, and operational structure.
Team Management & Collaboration
-
Oversee and support the Recruitment Coordinator in recruitment activities.
-
Partner with the Director of HR Strategy & Member Experience on HR initiatives related to recruitment, engagement, and retention.

Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, volunteer data, and HR documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Experience in recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition (volunteer or professional setting).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Strategic mindset with a passion for people and community building.
-
Comfortable working in a remote and non-profit environment.
-
Ability to meet and collaborate weekly via Zoom, Google Drive, Microsoft and Slack with the team.

Ability to attend monthly Team All Hands via Zoom.
-
Prior experience managing or mentoring a team member is a plus.
