Position Overview:

M2D is seeking a Recruitment Lead to manage the full-cycle recruitment, ensuring a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience for all team members at M2D. This role will oversee one Recruitment Coordinator and report to the Director of HR Strategy & Member Experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong people skills, passionate about creating a positive candidate and volunteer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruitment

• Lead full-cycle recruitment, from job posting, sourcing, screening, and interviewing to selection and onboarding.

• Collaborate with the leadership team to identify talent needs and ensure effective role alignment.

• Maintain and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract diverse, mission-driven candidates.

• Ensure job descriptions are up to date and reflective of organizational needs.

Onboarding & Offboarding

• Manage and enhance the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new team members.

• Conduct onboarding sessions to introduce new team members to M2D’s mission, values, and operational structure.

Team Management & Collaboration

• Oversee and support the Recruitment Coordinator in recruitment activities.

• Partner with the Director of HR Strategy & Member Experience on HR initiatives related to recruitment, engagement, and retention.

• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, volunteer data, and HR documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition (volunteer or professional setting).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strategic mindset with a passion for people and community building.

• Comfortable working in a remote and non-profit environment.

• Ability to meet and collaborate weekly via Zoom, Google Drive, Microsoft and Slack with the team.

• Ability to attend monthly Team All Hands via Zoom.

• Prior experience managing or mentoring a team member is a plus.
