About the Role

The City of El Segundo is hiring Recreation Leaders to support the Aquatics Division within the Recreation, Parks, and Library department. This is a part-time, non-benefited, at-will position that sits outside the classified service. Team members are typically scheduled for roughly 10 to 18 hours each week, with availability needed during afternoons, evenings, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operation of aquatics programs and facilities in El Segundo.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service to swimmers, families, and program participants.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment for all visitors.
• Support recreation staff during afternoon, evening, Friday, and Saturday shifts.
