About the Role
As a part-time, days Radiologic Technologist at DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital in Detroit, Wayne County, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures that support physicians in surgery, medicine, and the hospital's nationally recognized Centers of Excellence. This role offers a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500, scaled to your relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality radiographic images while following established imaging protocols.
- Position patients accurately and apply correct exposure settings for each examination.
- Uphold strict radiation safety standards to protect patients, colleagues, and yourself.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to deliver timely results.
- Support patient comfort and clear communication throughout every procedure.
- Keep imaging equipment clean, calibrated, and ready for use.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current credentials appropriate for a practicing Radiologic Technologist.
- Working knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Availability to work a part-time, daytime schedule.
