Quality Lab Technician (12hr Day Shift)

ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. is actively seeking a full-time Quality Lab Technician (12-hour Day Shift) to join its manufacturing team at the Cincinnati, OH facility in Saint Bernard, Hamilton County — offering $24.00 per hour to start.

About the Role

As a Quality Lab Technician on the 12-hour day shift, you'll serve as a frontline guardian of product integrity within one of the world's leading flexible packaging organizations. Working in a fast-paced, safety-first production environment, you'll conduct hands-on laboratory testing to ensure every product that leaves the Saint Bernard facility meets stringent quality standards. What You'll Do

• Perform in-process and finished-product quality tests using calibrated lab instruments including tensile testers, seal-strength analyzers, and thickness gauges
• Collect and log production samples at defined intervals, maintaining accurate and legible test records
• Identify nonconforming materials, quarantine suspect product, and communicate defects to production and supervision in a timely manner
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; escalate equipment issues as needed
• Support investigations into quality escapes and participate in root-cause analysis and corrective-action processes
• Follow all facility safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout every shift
• Collaborate with production operators and shift supervisors to resolve quality concerns on the floor
• Maintain a clean, organized lab workspace consistent with 5S standards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in a science or technical discipline is a plus
• Prior laboratory or quality-inspection experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred
• Comfort working a 12-hour day shift schedule, including rotating weekends as required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical specifications and work instructions
• Basic proficiency in math and data entry; experience with quality management or ERP systems is beneficial
• Solid written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination
• Commitment to a safety-oriented mindset and compliance with all plant policies
