Quality Control Director

GSK is hiring a full-time Quality Control Director in Marietta, Lancaster County to lead quality oversight across one of the most trusted medicine and vaccine manufacturing operations in the world.

About the Role

As Quality Control Director at GSK's Marietta, Lancaster County site, you will own the quality strategy that keeps our medicines and vaccines safe, compliant, and dependable. This on-site leadership position sits at the heart of a manufacturing network that helps protect the health of millions of patients, giving you direct influence over how reliable, high-quality products reach the people who depend on them.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day quality control operations and laboratory testing across the Marietta manufacturing site.
• Set and uphold quality standards that ensure every batch of medicine and vaccine meets regulatory and patient-safety requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop quality control teams to deliver consistent, audit-ready results.
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and compliance functions to protect product integrity and on-time delivery.
• Champion continuous improvement, data integrity, and a culture of accountability throughout the quality organization.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in quality control within pharmaceutical, vaccine, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong working knowledge of GMP, regulatory expectations, and laboratory quality systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, drive performance, and resolve complex quality challenges.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Marietta, Lancaster County (this is not a remote role).
