Elevance Health is hiring a Provider Reimbursement Admin Sr — Behavioral Health Coding to join our team in Norfolk, Norfolk City, in a full-time, hybrid role that blends in-office collaboration with the flexibility of virtual work.
About the Role
As a Provider Reimbursement Admin Sr focused on Behavioral Health coding, you will play a central part in ensuring accurate provider reimbursement at Elevance Health. This is an on-site-flexible position based in Norfolk, with associates expected to work from the office one to two days each week to support teamwork and connection while preserving the autonomy of remote work. The schedule follows EST/CST business hours, and alternate locations may be considered for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and review provider reimbursement processes related to behavioral health services.
- Apply specialized medical coding knowledge to validate claims and reimbursement accuracy.
- Partner with internal teams and providers to resolve reimbursement questions and discrepancies.
- Support compliance with established coding standards, policies, and reimbursement guidelines.
- Contribute to a collaborative, hybrid workplace that balances structured office engagement with focused independent work.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in provider reimbursement administration, ideally within behavioral health.
- Strong background in medical coding and claims review.
- Ability to work scheduled EST/CST hours.
- Availability to work on-site in Norfolk one to two days per week.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and communication skills.
