ACCO Engineered Systems is hiring a full-time Project Engineer II in Nevada, US — a hands-on role for someone ready to take ownership of mechanical and engineered construction projects from kickoff through completion.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer II based in Nevada, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, reporting to the Project Manager while making independent decisions that keep work moving. Day to day, you'll coordinate the on-site and off-site activities that drive each project forward, adapting quickly as client needs shift and ensuring every assignment delivers value, controlled costs, and reduced risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily project tasks and field activities under general supervision, applying sound judgment to resolve issues as they arise.
- Coordinate field and office execution so schedules, resources, and deliverables stay aligned.
- Apply value engineering principles to improve outcomes and trim unnecessary expense on each assignment.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks before they affect timelines or budgets.
- Respond flexibly to evolving customer requirements while maintaining quality and accountability.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supporting or managing construction or engineered systems projects.
- Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and make decisions with limited oversight.
- Strong grasp of cost control, value engineering, and risk management practices.
- Clear communication and coordination skills for working across field crews, clients, and project leadership.
- Willingness to work on-site in Nevada; this position is not remote.
