Solaris, one of Europe's foremost embedded finance platforms, is hiring a Procurement Working Student (f/m/d) to join our team in Berlin or Frankfurt. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how procurement powers a licensed financial institution from the inside. About the Role Working alongside our Strategic Buyers and Vendor Managers, you'll get a behind-the-scenes view of how Solaris manages its third-party spend and keeps partnerships efficient, compliant, and sustainable. From early market research all the way through to contract archiving, you'll support the full procurement cycle and see how sourcing decisions are made at a leading Banking-as-a-Service company. This is a full-time working student position based in Berlin or Frankfurt. Key Responsibilities Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) workflow by drafting documents, tracking bidder deadlines, and compiling clear comparisons of submitted offers. Keep vendor master data accurate and current in our systems, helping ensure dependable information for regulatory reporting. Research prospective suppliers, emerging technologies, and market developments to inform strategic sourcing. Collect due diligence materials from vendors — such as ISO certificates and sustainability reports — in line with DORA and MaRisk obligations. Build monthly spend analyses and KPI dashboards for senior leadership using Excel or business intelligence tools. Serve as a go-to contact for internal teams on procurement policies and the status of purchase orders. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Law, or a comparable subject. A genuine affinity for numbers and a comfort working with data. Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; hands-on experience with ERP systems is a welcome bonus. Fluent German (C1 or above) and English, since you'll work across both local and international contracts. Proactive and detail-driven, with the discretion to handle confidential information responsibly.
