About the Role

Reporting directly to the Sourcing Manager, the Procurement Specialist serves as a key partner in securing the materials and services that power GLE's daily operations and production schedule. This Wilmington-based position works hand-in-hand with the Finance Team and provides procurement support to departments throughout the company, helping ensure that every purchase aligns with timelines, quality expectations, and budget priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the purchasing of goods and services needed to sustain GLE's everyday operations and operational schedule.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Team to align procurement activities with budgetary and reporting requirements.
• Provide responsive procurement support to a range of internal GLE departments.
• Help maintain reliable supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Support the Sourcing Manager in achieving efficient, well-documented sourcing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing within an operational environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing orders and vendor communications.
• Ability to partner effectively across teams, including finance and multiple operating departments.
• Availability to work full-time and on-site in Wilmington, New Hanover County.
