This full-time, on-site Postdoctoral Research Scholar position at NC State University offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge interdisciplinary science. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out laboratory experiments using mammalian cell cultures and animal models.
- Apply molecular techniques to investigate questions spanning cell biology, dermatology, and toxicology.
- Analyze experimental data, document findings, and contribute to manuscripts and grant materials.
- Collaborate with faculty, graduate students, and fellow researchers across complementary disciplines.
Qualifications
- An MD or PhD in cell biology or a closely related discipline such as biochemistry, genetics, immunology, pharmacology, or physiology.
- A broad, interdisciplinary foundation in dermatology and toxicology is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and animal model systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in molecular biology methods and laboratory research practices.
